RTHS would like thank RTHS Education Foundation for their generous grant.
This Spring, the RTHS Science Department was fortunate enough to receive RTHSEF funds to get some new technology in the classroom, in the form of state-of-the-art Meta Quest 3s headsets. Mr. Baker's Anatomy and Physiology class will be utilizing software called MedicalHoloDeck (as seen in the video) to help students better understand medical terminology, anatomical structures, and medical imaging/diagnosis. Mrs. Page also plans on utilizing VR Welding software to help students feel comfortable with the process before working with the real thing. We believe that getting students exposure to this technology will not only help these students be better prepared for the field of medicine, but also be more equipped to live in the new age of technology. This is yet another example of how RTHS is helping prepare students for their tomorrow!

RTHS held its annual End of the Year Renaissance Assembly on Friday, May 15th, celebrating an incredible year of accomplishments, memories, and school spirit! 💜🤍🖤
The assembly kicked off with our Cheerleaders performing to the RTHS Loyalty song, setting the tone for a fun event. We also honored retiring teachers Mrs. White, Mrs. Mehrings, and Mr. Zepeda for their years of dedication to our students and school community.
Students and staff enjoyed performances from the Faculty Band, RTHS Jazz Band, Vocal Jazz Singers and a special performance by senior Christian Mascote and his band. Silver Cord recipients, Academic “R” recipients, and Critical Thinking Award winners were recognized for their hard work and achievements throughout the year.
The event also featured lots of giveaways, including a grand prize of $500 generously donated by Jeff Perry Chevrolet to one lucky winner, along with a hilarious Faculty Family Feud game hosted by Mr. Harvey, Extra Effort Awards for faculty members, speech team skit, and fun competitions between students and staff.
The assembly wrapped up with a touching video compilation highlighting memories from the past year and honoring the Class of 2026. What a great way to celebrate another amazing year at RTHS! 🎓✨
Thank you to the Counseling Center, the Renaissance Program and sponsors, and everyone who helped organize, participate in, and support the assembly for all of their hard work in making this event such a success!
