What are the core American values? That question was explored in essay form by many local students, including several of our own RTHS students.
American Legion Post 403 representatives visited RTHS on Tuesday, March 3rd to present contest winners with cash awards, prizes, and certificates in recognition of their outstanding Americanism essays.
Magdalene Good and Elijah Good each earned first place in their respective age divisions, advancing their essays to the district level of competition. Caden Goodwin and Layla Block received second place honors, and Yaneli Ledesma earned third place.
Congratulations to all of the participants, and best of luck to Magdalene and Elijah as they move on to the next level!
