Our RTHS students have been busy turning in their Fall Silver Service Volunteer Hours! They are doing a great job volunteering their time and talents to benefit a variety of non-profit organizations ranging from helping out a neighbor to volunteering at Feed my Starving Children to working at the HUB Program! We have a great group of volunteers here at RTHS and hope to have more students join in next semester and beyond! The Class of 2025 is currently in the lead with 7,566 total hours volunteered during their time at RTHS with 33% of them volunteering. Next are our Seniors with 7,476 volunteer hours and 35% of them volunteering. Working hard is our Sophomore class with 3,717 volunteer hours and 23% of them volunteering. Finally, our Freshman who have already turned in 1,076 hours in their short time here and have 24% of them volunteering! Way to go RTHS!!! Keep up the GREAT WORK.

Reminder this is tonight, December 18th at 7 pm in the auditorium! We invite parents of sophomores and juniors to an informational session on Dual Credit and AP classes. Our discussion will cover course insights, associated costs, savings when choosing these classes over Kish or a 4-year university, available courses, and the committed educators involved. Information will be available at the counseling center if you cannot attend. We want to provide this information to parents and students before the scheduling process kicks off in January. ¡Reserva la fecha para el lunes 18 de Diciembre a las 7 pm! Dr. Lewis and Government Teacher Mr. Reynolds had a great day with the KEC Business Leadership Class, exploring professions in law enforcement and the judicial system at the Dekalb County Sheriff's Office and Courthouse. Students we able to observe a trial and participate in a mock trial. Students taking this yearlong class will receive 3 credits of Dual Credit in Business 107. #weRhubs
