Big thanks to Nurse Lawrenz for educating the Freshman Seminar students on coping skills! This lesson discussed what positive coping skills are and how to build them into lifelong habits to reach optimal mental health. Stress will always be a part of life, but having healthy coping strategies in place, will create patterns that make it possible to handle all obstacles.

This past Saturday Student Council hosted the annual RTHS Make A Difference Day where we had about 60 students volunteer to perform various outdoor jobs for members of our community. We worked at 15 different homes and then all met up at St. Paul to pick up leaves at the the school. Thanks to all that helped and played a role in making that day a success!

The Cultural Reform Alliance's ofrenda for Día de Muertos (The Day of the Dead) is located under the D-wing stairs, right outside the LMC. The ofrenda features food, marigolds, papel picado, photos of loved ones and favorite famous people who have passed, and skull imagery. CRA members spent hours decorating the ofrenda on October 26. The CRA is one of the most active clubs at RTHS, with dozens of students at their weekly meetings on FLEX Thursdays in the LMC.
