We would like to recognize our students who represented our school at the speech meet on Tuesday at Rochelle Middle School. Competing in speech takes a great deal of courage - standing in front of others, sharing your voice, and putting yourself out there is no small task. These students demonstrated bravery, preparation, and confidence as they performed and represented our school with pride. We are proud of their willingness to step outside of their comfort zones and showcase their talents. Thank you for representing our school so well and good luck at the rest of your meets!

Names of students who receive positive referrals are then put into a weekly drawing for an RMS t-shirt. This week's winners are: Genelle Hernandez & Layla Burnham (not pictured) (6th), Emanuel Vega & Olivia Parrish (7th), and Brynndyl Mellor & Roman Arredondo (8th)

A job well done by our Math Counts team for advancing to the state tournament last week. They had a great experience at the competition in Oswego.

The American Legion Post 403 visited RMS on March 3, 2026, to acknowledge these writers and other participants. It is great to see our students achieve academic excellence beyond the classroom walls!
