Quick reminder about bus times for Week 1
Dear Parent/Guardian,
This is a reminder that all required 6th grade school physicals and immunization records must be submitted to Rochelle Middle School by **August 1, 2025**. Notification of this requirement originally came home with your student in March, 2025. A copy of that letter can be found attached to this email.
5th to 6th grade letter 2025-2026 English and Spanish
Students who have not completed registration or submitted the mandated health documents by this deadline will not be permitted to begin school on **August 13, 2025**, in accordance with the district’s **first-day exclusion policy**. Please note that **no exceptions** will be made to this rule.
Physical and immunization forms may be dropped off at the RMS main office or faxed directly to **815-803-6399**.
We appreciate your attention to this important requirement and look forward to a successful start to the school year.

Estimado/a padre/madre o tutor/a:
Este es un recordatorio de que todos los exámenes físicos escolares e historiales de vacunación requeridos para los estudiantes de 6.º grado deben ser entregados a Rochelle Middle School antes del 1 de agosto de 2025. Rochelle Elementary District #231 was able to replace many of our classroom TV sets this year with new interactive panels. We have a total of 26 TVs from classrooms that we have taken down and are looking to auction off to the public.
The TVs are 65-Inch Samsung Model BE65T-H. They do not have stands but we've found all of the remotes!
Bids will be accepted until 3:00pm this Friday, July 25. Winners will be notified by text and email of their winning bid.
Payments and pickup of the TVS will be at Rochelle Township High School on Wednesday, August 6th and Thursday August 7th.

Online Registration Open House
RMS will be having an OLR open house from 3:00PM to 7:00PM Monday and Tuesday. Parents who need help with registration can come to RMS Computer lab to complete registration. In person help will be available and also bilingual help. Please park on the west side of the building (bus pickup lot) and come in Door 3. You will see a display indicating the correct room. We have 10 computers setup for registration.
Please bring:
2 proofs of residency: from this group below you will need to provide two (2) recent different types of documents showing your proper address.
Driver's License/State Identification Card
Home/Apartment Insurance Papers
Public Aid Card
Bank Account Statement (checks/deposit forms are not acceptable)
Voter Registration Card
Utility Bill (telephone bill not accepted)
Credit Card Bill
Auto Registration
Please also bring your child's birth certificate if you are new family to the district.
You can also drop off any heath documents that your child requires for their current grade.
Casa Abierta para Registro en Línea
RMS tendrá una casa abierta para el Registro en Línea (OLR) de 3:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m. el lunes y martes. Los padres que necesiten ayuda con el registro pueden venir al laboratorio de computación de RMS para completar el proceso. Habrá asistencia en persona disponible, incluyendo ayuda bilingüe.
