Hire great people - Build a community for the future. The Rochelle Township High School (RTHS) Career Fair and Public Hiring Expo will be held tomorrow, March 7, 2024 in the Blue Gym at Rochelle Township High School (RTHS), 1401 Flagg Road. The Public Hiring Expo from noon-2pm will allow over 35 local employers to recruit and hire for emerging jobs in the Rochelle area.
This is a great opportunity right here in our area.


TOMORROW IS THE DAY!!! The ROCHELLE SPRING HIRING EXPO is tomorrow, March 7th. RTHS Juniors and Seniors will meet prospective employers and learn about career paths while experiencing a hiring event from 10:30 -11:30.
From 12-2 pm, the Expo will be open to the public for area job-seekers to meet with many employers with current openings. This event will take place in the Auxiliary Gym at RTHS. Hope to see you there!



Just a reminder summer school sign ups go live at 7am tomorrow morning. An email with the link was sent to current RTHS students today from Mr. Wise. Incoming Freshman information will come out later. This is for current RTHS students only.

This week is CHORAL POPS! This year the RTHS Choral Department is celebrating The Beatles. Come enjoy some of your favorites this Thursday, March 7 at 7pm. Tickets are $3 for adults and $1 for students.

In the LMC today, 36 Hubs attended workshops to learn about NCAA eligibility and the recruitment process to play collegiate athletics. The counseling session was presented by the Physical Education Dept. Chair Amy Schweitzer. Mrs. Schweitzer is completing a practicum for her Master's Degree in School Counseling at NIU and will host follow-up discussions on March 7. For more information, please contact Mrs. Schweitzer.







This week's Hub Award winner is Aiden Ramsey. For four years now, Aiden has been helping RTHS students and staff. He helps make RTHS a better place through his unwavering commitment to helping others and our school community. Thank you, Aiden!

Rochelle Township High School is going to be auctioning off some old equipment and supplies online through the Rochelle Schools website. The auction site will be open from Friday, March 1, 2024 at 8:00am through Friday, March 8, 2024 at 3:00pm. Once the auction is complete, bids will be tabulated and winners will be notified on Monday, March 11, 2024. Winning bidders must pay by cash or check and will be given details on how to make arrangements to pick up purchased items the week of March 11 - 15, 2024. The RTHS SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAM is a great way for you to get ahead or get caught up.
Students will be emailed a Google Form and it will go live at 7:00 am on Tuesday, March 5th for regular summer school sign ups. After students sign up AND are placed in a class, they will need to make payments by April 12 to hold their spot.
Classes will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
*Incoming 9th graders and Dual Credit Government will sign up at a later date.*


Every Thursday, freshmen are invited to go tech-free with creativity or reading in the LMC. Today we're making paper stained glass!











To wrap up FFA Week, some of the Rochelle FFA members attended a packing session at Feed My Starving Children in Aurora. The group was able to pack 853 meal packs at their station alone! #livingtoserve






Are you interested in Diesel Power Technology? Join Kishwaukee College Diesel Instuctors for an orientation meeting on 3/11, 3/19 or 3/20 to find out more.
The presentation will include information about
the DPT program, classes and class schedules
for the Fall 2024 semester.
